The Social Justice Forum is taking place February 2nd, 2012 from 5:30-7:30pm at the Law Courts Inn
This event is open to all UBC law students, and is a great opportunity to mingle with public interest organizations and social justice practitioners!
Panelists are Robyn Gervais (Counsel in the Missing Women Commission of Inquiry), Doug King (Staff Lawyer at PIVOT), Lobat Sandrehasmi, (Immigration & Refugee Lawyer), and Karen Slaughter (Acting Director, Prisoners Legal Services).

The Indigenous Law Students Association is partnering with Canadian Lawyers Abroad to present a must-attent event!
On Tuesday, November 22nd at 12:30 pm in Allard Hall, room 122, Professor Darlene Johnston will provide a special lecture titled “Crossing Borders: Indian Reserves as Canada’s Third World?”
We hope you attend the lecture so as to further your knowledge on a subject that is rarely approached at law school.
